Since 2007, Isle of MTV Malta has become one of Europe’s most recognisable free open-air concerts, held annually at Il-Foses Square in Floriana, just outside Valletta. Each year, the historic space is transformed into a live music arena, welcoming both local audiences and international visitors. While the concert itself attracts a lively and energetic crowd, Valletta comes alive during this period, with rooftop bars, fine dining restaurants, and waterfront promenades offering a more relaxed way to enjoy the atmosphere.

Taking place primarily at Ta’ Qali National Park, alongside additional events across various venues, this festival offers a multi-location experience that reflects Malta’s growing presence on the international music stage.
The 2026 line-up includes headliners Lewis Capaldi and Calvin Harris.
